Smart Sustainable Solutions for Data Center
The REOS Smart Grid is a cutting-edge energy solution designed to meet large-scale demands, delivering scalable, sustainable power from megawatt to gigawatt capacities. It seamlessly integrates intelligent energy management, renewable generation, and advanced storage technologies into a unified system. With reliable Combined Heat and Power (CHP) and Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP) as the foundation, along with renewable sources like solar, wind, and hydrogen, the REOS Smart Grid is engineered for robust, reliable performance while advancing toward net-zero carbon emissions, all while providing dependable power and cooling for high-performance computing.
Driven by AI-powered energy management that optimizes power distribution and storage, and supported by advanced lithium-ion batteries for consistent output, the REOS Smart Grid offers scalability and cost-efficiency. It reduces capital (CAPEX) and operational (OPEX) expenses, delivering exceptional efficiency and sustainability for medium to hyperscale data centers, industrial applications, and municipalities, while remaining flexible to meet evolving energy demands.
REOS Advanced Equipment Communication and Control System with Proprietary Hybrid Power Line Radio (HPLR) Network
REOS network communications can be facilitated in any one or all the three phases of the low voltage side (80 to 480VAC) of the building or city power grid, or with optional LV-LV or MV-LV coupling units to propagate signals for multiple phases (or multiple transformer secondaries) installations.
The Network Gateway acts as the bridge between the power line network and the front end local/remote SCADA, remote/local database or remote http/MQTT push messaging. Each gateway can support up to 2500 end nodes and has the capability to securely communicate via ethernet, or remotely with WIFI, or LTE/CDMA/GSM cellular network.
The Network Node as the core networking module is designed to be used as a part of a customer's application or interface board for sensors, controls, actuators, and lighting loads. Each node can exist on any of the three phases of the low voltage (80–480 VAC) side of the power grid.
The network automatically installs and is self-healing; there is no field installation necessary other than mounting and wiring of the nodes. Each node can be miles out from the nearest node (depending on the number of intermediate power line branches) and maintain network connectivity.
Backed by patented cipher stream encryption on top of industry leading 256-bit elliptic curve cryptographic security, the communication system is highly secure. All messages on the power line networks are fully encrypted with factory configured security keys and certificates.
With broad applications and adaptability, PLAN architecture offers simplicity, security, scalability, and reliability important in smart cities. It is the future of wide area IOT networks on existing power lines.
